Anglican Church in North America

IMG_0103.JPG

I'm back from Exponential in Orlando and a Movements workshop near Washington DC.

Here I am with some Bishops and church planters from the Anglican Church in North America. If the men and women I met are typical of the movement, then they have a bright future.

Unfortunately, evangelicals have a history of clinging to the wreckage of the mainline Protestantism too long. When they finally face reality, it's too late.

These Anglicans have left with a enough energy and faith to pioneer a fresh movement that truly represents the best of the Anglican heritage in North America. They have a vision to plant 1000 churches.

An important factor in the emergence of this movement is its partnership with evangelical Anglicans of the global south. God has a sense of humour.
