Churchill on writing

Making history Winston 008

My friend Colin sent me this quote from Churchill on writing. I’m not sure if it was meant as an encouragement. It’s certainly true!

Writing a book is an adventure.  To begin with, it is a toy and an amusement.  Then it becomes a mistress, then it becomes a master, then it becomes a tyrant. The last phase is that just as you about to be reconciled to your servitude, you kill the monster, and fling him to the public.

Winston Churchill

The draft goes off to IVP today. It will be flung to the public by the end of 2015. The topic is Movement Leadership.

Now I can get back to life and the blog.
